It may seem excessive but for a student or someone who works on contract work and needs to get up a different times every day of the week this is great. Plus 2 seperately configurable alarms that go off every day at whatever time you set them (and easy to turn them on and off). I agree with everything there except instead of dual alarm:Ī dial with each day of the week and configurable alarm for each day (including the ability to turn them on and off easily). The closest I came to something with the list from above was this unit, but it was lacking good sound quality and looked kind of cheap: It's still difficult to read a backlit LCD from afar. Is that too much to ask for? The TEAC would have been perfect if the clock was an LED display instead. Readable display with different dimming options some of the features that I would like in one device are: so now with the advent of Ipods, and MP3 players, manufacturers should be able to provide much more functionality in their clock devices. I was saying that clock technology really isn't that difficult since it's been around for ages now. I was having a clock radio discussion with a few friends on New Years Eve. If it looks like the one in your picture, I'd buy it in a snap.īincent wrote: ↑Haha. But for that price and that sound quality, it looks like a good deal to me.ĭude, are you sure you're referring to the right product? When I search for "TEAC" on the costco.ca site, I get this product which doesn't look half as good as what your picture looks like: I've tried to find some decent reviews on this item, so if anyone comes across one please forward it here. The Phillips model is a very tiny and stylish footprint, but one problem with the TEAC is its footprint is MASSIVE. Which is the better clock radio I have the Sony and its way better than Jensens HD clock radio IMO, but I thought Id get feedback on if the Teac is. The sound on it was very impressive, I was comparing it with the Phillips AJ300D sitting next to it and was frankly blown away by the TEAC. Costco has one at a very good price, it's the TEAC SR-L230i and it comes in white and black.
